Are you sure it's not just the low fuel warning which goes off at 80km to empty?

3 beep warnings are usually fuel related 80ks 60 40 20 to empty
3 beep is also for ajar door or faulty sensor usually at start up 5 beeps is oil related pressure or sender 5 is also cooling system related .from low water to overheat to faulty sensor 3 to 5 can also be ABS or seat belt pretension conections check under your seats for loose fittings most have a coresponing warning light on the dash (if they all work,) failing the usual checks you may need to Ford to scan it for codes

Is it auto???
If stationary ... and in Park .... so the speedo needle spike up a bit with the handbrake on???? If this does happen ... it usually the speed sender in the side of the auto ... car thinks it is moving while the handbrake is on .. just another thought.
