Does anybody know the RMS rating of the factory AU Ford amp?
Just got an 8" sub to fit in the factory shelf.......wondering if I can get away with powering it with the factory amp..........will have another amp put in to power the speakers...... Cheers, Dave.

I dont' think the factory amp is very powerful at all, maybe only 20Wrms. i have replaced the factory sub with a 8" pioneer flat free air sub and the amp struggles to drive it cleanly. thinking about putting in my alpine 2x45wrms (bridged to 110W) which i had driving 2 x 10" subs very well.
