Good to hear, I always thought the show had potential. Good to hear they're stepping it up. Warren is a good choice for leading too.

Tickets were free. You had to register on a website. I was at the first season filming, which is what I compared last night to. I had my hand shook by Morrison, Pizzati, and Brown, all who mingled in with the audience. They are nice guys, but poor Morrison; he was really, really nervous. Oh yeah, the Stig was in the studio last night. We get an explanation, regarding him.

Barring any disaster, me. I was there on Tuesday as well, when the storm hit. I walked out at 2030, as they couldn't get the sound back up after the studio leaked. Quite a shame, as the '34 Ford Ute that they paid homage to was absolutely stunning, but the Home Made Utes (Tarago and Prelude) segment looked crap.

A mate of mine had spare tickets to the first episodes filming but apparently he messaged me but his phone must have stuffed up. :
I heard that Skaife said a few things you wouldn't have expected and that even my mate (who is a one eyed holden supporter) came out thinking that Skaife was a bit of a toss. Cant wait to see it!

Just going to say that the new series does look much better. Loved the segment with James' dad! Did the Audi really hand the HSV its ... on a plate, or was Steve driving granny style. V10 lambo motor, I suspect the former. So bring on June 1 (when this ep 4 airs). One downside though. That Lehmo bloke (of Triple M's Will and Lehmo fame) employed to 'warm' up the crowd was funny for all of 2 seconds and stood around the rest of the night watching. Really earned his money..... made the time between takes a little boring and tedious, so I went and spoke to Roy Billings (Aussie Bob from Underbelly 2). Wasn't the star in a RPC, just was a fan and was hanging out. Cool bloke. Paxton, yeah wouldn't have wanted to be there on Tues night in the hailstorm. Must have been incredibly loud. I know what hail on sheet metal sounds like from unfortunate experience. No damage to the cars parked outside I take it?
