Default Weber DGAV 32/36

I managed to snap the bolt on the one of my auto-choke thermostat thingos. I tried everything and reluctantly drilled it out. So now i have the thermostat assy with a clean straight hole. Can i rethread it somehow? It looks like there should be enough meat to do so. Might aswell fix it to have as a spare.
Thanks for any help
