how do i remove the dash cluster from an AU3 ???
is it just the two screws at the top and slide it out or is there more screws?? and ifso where are they?? cheers Rod |

That's it - undo the two screws at top and it just slides out. Try reaching up under the dash to get your fingers on it to give a bit of a push.

also, be careful of the bottom of the cluster... there's some sticky stuff that sticks it in.....
if you pull too quick you'll tear a little bit of the vinyl and it will annoy you forever.. just go very slowly.. if it's stuck at the bottom, a butter knife is your friend..

If it won't budge easily you can stick a big long flat head screwdriver i through the fuse box with the cover off and lever it from behind but you will probably find this easier if you make up a little hook to pull on the top left screw hole.

you have to separate the tabs.. it's quite easy to do, but, take your time cos they break easy..
once the cluster is out, you'll understand this post...

in regards to sliding out the cluster, i had a suction mount for a camera that i attached to the cluster and it just pulled out. so find yourself something with a suction cap on it. makes life a whole lot easier
