Could anyone recommend a good lawyer or solictor for advice on an automotive accident int he Melbourne area.

As a first move, why don't you go to "The Citizens Advice Bureau"?
It's staffed by retired legal people and it's free. |

Try ringing The Law Institute.
http://www.liv.asn.au/Referral.aspx Tell them about your problem and they値l give you a referral letter to see one of three solicitors that are close to you. The first half hour is free with the letter. You have SFA information in your profile. What suburb are you in?

I work in recoveries and settlements for an insurer. If you want to shoot me a PM I am happy to have a look for you. (Unless its a conflict of intrest...if an insurer is involved I need to know which one to keep from this happening)

Thanks for the info guys, updated my address at least, sort of had to move on legal quite quickly for a friend for reasons best left out of here. But as usual any help is good help.
