I think its a great idea but its probably a little way off yet. When the white coats can get the collision avoidance systems working smoothly and safely then it could work. I won't be putting my hand up as a beta tester but as a concept for the future I think its awesome.

They have been making cars that drive themselves for years. They called taxis.

This idea is stupid. You want to save fuel so you put out a few random busses that drive around aimlessly all day. Yeah great way to save fuel.
If these ever did happen here I would never use it.
Probably be a POS bus that slows to 60 on every hill anyway.
