hi i wanna tint my windows on my AU i saw there is cheap tint kits on ebay has anybody tried them out before and would it be hard to do yourself and how much would it cost to pay a pro to do it if you bought one of them kits first thanks

I did mine myself you can buy tint off ebay from a place in croydon melbourne
It is allot harder than it looks that is for sure... dont expect to just be able to do it first go expect to waste a fair bit before you get there. I bought an expensive dvd set of 15 dvds on how to tint windows this came from an American tinting shop. its good stuff and highly recommended. I could have paid to get mine done for the money i spent including the dvds but id rather learn something new myself. P.S make sure u buy the tint tools from the same place i recommended the tint from.. without it ur screwed. |

By the time you obtain tint, tools, wastage factor included and the time factor involved putting it on, you may as well save up a few more pennies and get the job done professionally.
Competition is fairly fierce with tint companies and most offer a fairly big discount depending upon what grade of tint that you require. For an AU roughly start from $300 then price then goes upwards for the better grades of film. |

sweet deal beer baron was that with the tint as well or just the labour cost
yeah i was thinkin of doin it myself to save a few pennies cause im pretty good at doing most things myself but never done it b4 n seen so many dodgy tint jobs round probably better to pay someone n not **** myself off tryin haha |
