In the second pic i had one of the gold studs- which you can see. by the way there are only 3 studs, not 6. the other 3 are a reflection!!

Top stuff there Matt. Keep up the good work. I thought you would have pulled a little more at the wheels too after seeing you haul that trailer and a full load.

Matt, orsm job on cleaning those wheels mate. Whatever Marty has, must be contagious, and you got it now!

To clean my Azzurros, I think I would need at least one pack of cotton buds......per wheel lol

TONY
hahahaha lol

JACK
Yeah im a bit dissapointed but what can you do.

ROSCO
Yeah i do have other wheels for daily driving but now that i have a ute aswell the eb stays in the garage. I have no idea how they got that dirty. driving to adelaide and back wouldnt have helped. lol

STATTIC
Thanks for the possitive reply mate. always good to hear good things- makes me feel like im doing something right lol.
The shift kit only cost me $7 (I already had the wire so add another couple of dollars)
It was really easy to make. just followed the diagram-- http://www.fordmods.com/viewtopic.ph...0shift%2520kit

I have had one bad diff 'clunk' but that was under full noise with people in the car. thats about it.

pm me if you want me to explain further about the shift kit build.

BUD.
Im pritty happy with the end result. only 3 wheels to go. Im sure if you took the time and the whole pack of cotton buds you could get them looking really good.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Matt

hey peoples. not to much has been happening with the car lately. i dont drive it to much which i am a bit disappointed about.

BUT.... plans have been made and you will be seeing a nice bit of a visual change to the old eb. small mods that will change the cars look in a big way.

stay tuned over the coming months.

Looks good, i saw it at AFD - very clean

I have an Optima Battery as well, makes my starter motor sound like it has a turbo I still need a bigger alternator though

Unsure about the Blue Walls - same as I am unsure about putting red ones on my car.

Are you happy with the J3 Chip, who dyno tuned it?

i was a bit iffy about the bluewalls at the start but now i love them lol.

the j3 chip was ok. paul from cve did the tune. im general i thought the car would be making alot more power than it is seeing as i have put a fair bit of money into it. i think it may need to be re-tuned.

well. not too many updates to add but its been nearly a year so i thought id add one.

over the last year i haven't driven the car much. really disappointing that i haven't.
ive lost a bit of enthusiasm with the good old EB. although now with show season about im starting to get it back again and will try and make an effort to finish my boot install and finish all the odds and end that have been left.

if i get the mod bug back i really want to do something with the mess of an engine bay that ford gave the EB. ie: rip the engine out, weld all the holes, full hidden wiring, **** the battery and airbox off, hpc the extractors, polish/ chrome a few thing, engine bay and under bonnet spray to match the rest of the car.

if im not sick of it after that i really want to get underneath looking like new/ or close to. mirrors under the car is my goal.

once all the above is done the car will be kept super clean and hopefully get driven a bit more.

thats about all. hopefully in a year i can arrive at my destination and win geelong afd best ea-el non xr......
