Quick question..
I have just purchased a TS50 auto gearbox, ecu and loom to do an ESS conversion in the fairlane.. Just wondering, will i be able to just change the auto, ecu and loom from the ecu to dash/steering wheel and it'll all work, or will I need more parts..? I have access to more parts if needed, so any help is appreciated.. Cheers Kris

if you have the full dash loom it should all work the only other thing you might need is the BEM but I think they are both the same high series units ( pink if it is series 2/3)

Yeah I believe the BEM's are the same as they are both high series (series 1)..
Yeah I was thinking it would only need full dash loom... Thanks mate..!

Does anyone know if any fuses or relays would need to be changed...?

as it is all run through the ECU there would be no fuses or relays needed

As per the other thread where this came up, there is only a couple wires that you need to run from the ECU, no need replacing essentially the same loom.
Also the BEM is completely irrelevant here as all the auto gearbox functions are controlled from the ECU side of things. |
