You would think that filling up a car is just a normal part of driving. Everyone should have at least learnt that on there L's. This thread is a classic. My general rule is if you drive the car then you replace the fuel but when I am with a girl I will fill it up or at least offer to just to be nice. If someone else is taking me somewhere or helping me I'll pay for fuel, fill it up and buy drinks etc. Its common courtesy.

Also the talk about all the people wearing gloves to fill up a car. What is the world coming to. Petrol is an awesome parts cleaner, I use it all the time and that involves using my hands and getting covered in the stuff. I love it. Theres also good handwashs available for people who are scared. They dont leave you with smelly, dirty hands. Yes it may not have alovera or moisturise your skin but it works. I even grab a handful of washing powder when washing greasy, oily hands and it works a treat.

Keep this thread going...Its interesting seeing peoples opinions. I laugh out loud at people afraid of getting dirty.

Its not bad but I like the smell of Diesel better.

Plus working with diesel when it comes to working on cars is nicer I reckon, its way more dirtier but it doesn't dry out your skin and you don't get a bad headache when you're doing fuel filters lol.
