Default Starting with an F

Is this just coincidental or do Ford try to name most of the vehicles with an F?
Fairlane, Futura, Fiesta, Festiva, Focus, Falcon, F100, Fairmont...

It's only ford Australia. Look to the rest of the world and there is basically nothing starting with a F that I can think of.

Maybe they think were slow or something.

No its not. About 5 years ago Ford US were making an effort to make all their cars F based and all their SUV's E based. The only standouts was Taurus, Crown Vic and Mustang. At the time they had Focus, Fusion, Five Hundred, Escape, Explorer, Expedition and Excursion.

Futura, Fairmont and Fairlane are still historical US names as well and do point to the underlying trend

Yea your both right. Matter of fact I'd say there would have been a time when the falcon was released in the us then everything would have had started with a F.

Now I have something to research at work tomorrow.
