Default When should a thread be locked?

I am NOT wanting to be banned or suffer any ill consequences BUT when should a thread be locked? If one moderator posts an answer BUT DOESN'T lock the thread, then why can the next MOD lock the thread when nothing bad has been said?? I just want everything to be equal and conform to all the rules.

Are you talking about the thread you started earlier that was locked? Maybe the mod who commented on it, wasn't a moderator of that area. I don't know. Didn't really take notice.

You would be better off asking the mod who locked your thread.

If it is outside site T&C, pointless or posted to insight an arguement.

This thread is Pointless
As above, if you have a question as to why your thread was locked PM the mod who locked it
