Default BA XR8 in USA

http://www.rdpmotorsport.com/

Just came across this. Apparently this group in USA can import falcons to the US. Check out their twin turbo XR8 BA ute.

They do some awesome work over in the US, i've had them on Facebook for a while and they are constantly uploading pics of their jobs. Some of their work over there is incredible! They've got some very talented workers and customers with a lot of money regardless of their less than savoury past in Australia.

They didn't import their XR8 from Australia, they took it with them when they moved their operations over there.

Didnt the bloke who started the company get sort of sent on his way? I remember them not getting very good press for a while back there.

That last youtube vid was shot at Willowbank, Qld a number of years ago.
I've seen that ute in the flesh, as it were:

A couple of photos I took at RDP, Redcliff some years ago.
Dyno Steve sold the business a number of years ago to the present owner & moved to the US. When he left some unhappy comments went with him.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

That utes now powered by a 540ci big block N/A. It was a twin turbo 377ci. They're going to force feed it soon - not sure whether its gonna be turbo or S/C though

edit: "We're going to be fitting some turbonetics turbos in the next few months before seasons end"
