Default rear parcel shelf

hey just wondering if anyone on there au falcon has put a sub in the boot hole under the rear parcel shelf. How does it go? im thinking about doing it. Did you cut any holes in the parcel shelf to get sound through or just left it

What ever you do don't cut any holes.

i had a sub in my parcel shelf in my ED, it rattled the b!tch loose

If you cut a hole, you need an engineers cert... don't do it!
Just put it in a box in the boot.
You'll regret doing it at resale time when everybody points and asks.

There is a ten inch hole in the metal work in the boot im thinking about getting a sub and just putting it in the hole and under the pacel shelf u wont be able to see in unless u look through the boot

Every sedan has a hole for the sub wether they use one or not, if not its covered with carpet. I noticed on Marcus Ambroses Supercar when he backed it into the wall at Surfers that it had the hole for the subby in the parcel shelf too.

If the holes don't line up or so you do not have to cut anything, you could build an adaptor plate, using the original holes to mount the adapter plate below ( in the boot and bolt the sub to it and all should be good.

just an idea

There is no hole in the pacel shelf at all. There is a hole in the metal work below it. I was justing going to put it in the hole so it would sit under the pacel shelf like the premium sound in the barra
