Default The Project

I was asked today if I wanted to appear on The Project on Ch10 Friday night by my Union rep, I had to turn it down because I didn't quite fit the criteria of what they were looking for, a younger person with kids and a mortgage who works in the auto industry (I don't have a mortgage), they wanted me to do it because I have a good idea about what is going on with auto manufacturing in this country.

The story will be about how the government is not doing enough to help the industry and they wanted a workers perspective on it.

I'm a bit dissapointed because I thought I could have put a good argument forward about how other countries are supporting their industries, and how our government doesn't, and how free trade agreements are all one sided against us. Just throwing cash at the manufacturers does nothing to increase sales.

Would have been a bit hard containing myself not to bag Ford, for doing its best to destroy Falcon and make it easier to replace though, although the union is aware of what they are doing and may slip it in somewhere.

Should be interesting anyway, the segment airs Friday night. Not sure who they are getting to do it as a couple of others turned the offer down but they will find someone.
