Actually i will reply because i can't stand your slanderous ramblings of un truths. What makes you think that bp would advertise a fuel they have no intention of selling? You are trying to say that bp is effectively shutting out their opposition. Where are your facts, do you have proof. No.

I'm not trying to say that. I was trying to understand WHY a company would advertise a product that they APPEAR to not want to sell. I asked right at the beginning of this thread whether this was a breach of some Fuelwatch obligation and I now know from the horses mouth that it isn't. I spoke to Fuelwatch and they have said that this is highly unlikely that BP is shutting it's bowsers down to effect small Independent pricing and profit margins and I'm happy with that.

Without getting into an even bigger debate, oil companies are not the guardians of the community, and do not always do the right thing, even though there adverts are all full of love and kisses for people (seen the Chevron ads lately?) If you believe they do, you are deluded. Ask anyone in the Gulf of Mexico what they think of BP!!!!!

Well it just so happens BP isn't totally at fault it was a contractors mistake (mexico). But once again your slandering BP in Australia that has nothing to do with BP america. All over an out of order sign on their bowsers because they were either out of fuel or the pump was broken. Nice way to over react.

It sounds like a scam to me, If they can't supply the product take the freakin signs down.
It's like a supermarket with a huge sign out the front saying "Loaf of bread 20c" and you go in to buy a loaf of bread just to find out they sold out yesterday.

Shouldn't be allowed.

This thread is just dumb. How many times have i said why the signs were there and people still think it's a scam. Oh well over it.
