Default Speeding tickets

hey, ive recently get a speeding ticket. DOH!! anyway i accept that i was speeding and all.

But today i heard that someone wrote a letter and just got a warning instead of paying the fine and loosing the demerit points and all

Just wondering if anyone has information about this.

You always have the option to apeal the fine, but just take the blow and pay it i reckon.

You write a letter stating that it was accidental, give reasons, you have been driving for X years and never had a any fines in the past, and it wont happen again, do not lie, and there is no guarantee, but it cant hurt to ask.

Hang on.... you are in Victoria

Under the new terrorist laws interfering with the financial operation of the government by way of inciting a person to fight a speeding fine is SEDITION....

Penalty
1000 years jail, 5 death penalties and your drivers licence endorsed "Hyundai only"

You dropped your bong and while you were picking it up your handgun slipped and fell on the accelerator.... happens all the time.

Yes, this can be done....if it is your 1st offence. If you write a letter explaining that it is your 1st driving offence and that it was accidental and there is a more than good chance that you will receive a written warning.

Direct words from a police proscecutor
