Tis true they must. Sadly people will buy it. HSV could put its logo on a steaming pile of dog poop and some Fanboy would buy it

Can it be fitted with a BOV?
How can it be so slow with the light weight and high kW? Are the figures a lie, or does it not get the power to the ground? 9.5 thats a slow old Camira time of sorts....lol Last edited by RASER; 06-09-2012 at 11:25 AM. |

If it had a close ratio gearbox to keep the revs up and a blow off vavle to keep the boost during gear changes it should be pretty fast?!

Some people just don't know how to drive boosted cars. You need to drive them differently to N/A cars. You can't just slam through the gears as hard as you can, you have to change gears smoother and apply light throttle pressure before clutch disengagement to pre-spool the turbo for the next gear change.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if these numpties just got in and slammed through the gears like cave men. |

Just goes to show holden and walkinshaw aint used to technology!
They can build a decent old school V8 but when it comes to a cam shaft OVER the head they are lost LOL! |

Just got done reading about this car in the Hot Tuner challenge in MOTOR mag. The WP Cruze put down 113kW at the wheels, which would indicate about 140kW at the engine, nowhere near their claim of 180kW.

Maybe they need to learn from Ford how to properly understate your power figures.

Saw the results from Motor Mags Hot Tuner too. Cruze to 100 in mid 9s: no way it has 180kW: a Kia Rio is quicker...
$50K for a slow Daewoo... Mmm bargain... Can't wait to take on one in the Fiesta lol |

How ripped off would you feel paying 50k for one, only to be barely able to drag off a Prius.
