im geting a heat spacer made up for my XR811 would anyone no if 1inch will fit under the bounet or can i go thicker
it dosent look like there much room under their HAS ANYONE DONE IT BEFORE |

Nah 1 inch will be way too thick, i put the proper one from ford and its only about 12-15mm thick and the TPS rubs on the bonnet underlay. I have a AU2 xr8

I've got a 1/2" phenolic spacer and have the same rubbing issue as neisha, so I guess 1" would actually leave a dent in the bonnet.
