Default is there much involved with fitting xr8 front to a xh/g van

looking at what front ends fit these model vans other than the el series

the fronts don't fit ,you can use the xr6,xr8 front from a xh xr6 an xr8 ute only .
The front of the bonnet and guards look ef el but the back is xd,xe,xf as ford took the old x series ute and morphed the e series front onto it. From the fire wall forward the front suspension ,k frame struts steering rack etc on the XH is ef,el but runs the eb log style inlet manifold & distributor ,but XG is completely different and is the same as an XF with an EB engine in it ,panels & front suspension ,steering is all XF (steering box etc) The xr6 & 8 only came out in the ute but the parts do fit the van

EF EL XR6\8 headlights and front bar will fit an XH . The bonnet and front guards on an XH are the same for GLi and XR

you are correct ,i thought the xr had vents in the bonnet but thats only the sedan not the ute ,so just bar & lights is all you will need
