I passed a new VZ red Maloo ute yesterday that had the vents in the front quarter panels. Even though I dislike holdung I love the vents on the side, they look awesome. I hope Ford do something like that in the future.
If you've seen them how do you rate those vents, I love em.

Honesty, I hate them. They make the car look cheap. Most good looking cars are designed as a "whole"; everything looks like it was meant to be there. Those vents look like a nasty afterthought ... might as well drill a few Buick "portholes" in the side and install a straight-8.
But then, if we al like the same thing it would be a very boring place wouldn't it? Rod. |

For that matter nearly all skirts wings and spoilers on road cars, have no purpose other then looking good. They just "ornamentation" and trim to mark the hi-po models, otherwise every car would look the same. |

yeah they serve no purpose, however i do like the ones on the VZ HSV..... they look a little less plastic (supercheap) than the standard VZ SS ones. Same as the monaro bonnets, those nostrels are blocked, usless... my mate fitted one to his VT and he modified it so they put air into the engine bay.
