Have 1964 Taunus 12 P4 TS am curious to know if anyone has a Taunus
as well.As far as I know this is the only one in Aust. Any help appreciated. |

Ford Taunus where popular in South Africa when I was a kid there back in the 1960/70s. The top car was the 20M coupe, the South African version had the UK Essex 3 litre V6 engine.

There are a few Taunus' in Australia but not sure if there is another like yours!

Quite a few competed in the original London to Sydney marathon back in 1968 , I knew of one that remained in Perth after the event , IIRC the car broke down north of Perth and wasn't repairable , it was carted back to Midland where it sat in a yard for a few years that I know of , had German number plates and was a V6 .
