Not sure if this is the right place? Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Perth WA who can look at my husbands Ford Bronco....... Trying to get it moving for his 40th Birthday, one of those projects that hasn't been completed yet!!! If anyone can help would be Great

Hey Piggin73, are you north or south of the river?
And what needs doing, engine/mechanics or panel/rust work etc? It will depend on if it's driveable and licensed too I guess.

North of River Butler. His Dad was doing the water pump took it all apart and then got sick so we can't move it.... Need to get the seal back on etc???? Licensed just in bits!! Looking for mobile I guess to get it back together, so it can be driven to get more work done.... Would be worth |

Water pump is pretty straight forward, just the muck around of taking out the radiator etc to undo the bolts where the fan is.
Yep, a mobile mechanic for a small job like that would be the go just so it's driveable. There is an F100 Bronco section on this forum, just scroll down a bit on the front page and you will see it. http://www.fordforums.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=243 Can't advise you on anything up Butler way, but there are some good workshops in the Joondalup business area around the Winton Rd area. You wouldn't need a specialist for the Bronco unless it required some body work/parts. Try the RAC Auto Services in Joondalup, I have heard good reports about them.

For small jobs generally any reputable mechanic will be able to perform the work. If you need someone who knows American fords like the bronco, f trucks, econovans etc, go see the guys at F Trucks in Welshpool. There not cheap by any means but you get what you pay for.
