Hi Guys,
My 94 ED is in need of some rotor machining and a wheel alignment: I'm new to Sydney, can anyone recommend a workshop/garage/place in Sydney's inner west? Cheers, MGal. |

If you can do the brakes yourself.
Last week I was going to get my AU wagon's front rotors machined & buy some new pads for it. Repco had a special, 2 rotors, pads & a bottle of brake fluid for $109. I couldn't knock them back for that price Not sure the special is still on Mario Last edited by LASTXR; 23-02-2015 at 05:42 PM. |

I live in an inner city unit where the car lives on the street, and i have no tools.
I suppose it's a pretty standard job that any shop can do, i just thought maybe there was somewhere that locals had good experiences in dealing with, or maybe someone on here ran a shop or knew someone that did etc etc |

I personally haven't used them, so have to go only on my neighbours reports. A few of them use Glebe auto repairs, Bridge rd Glebe. Apparently good but busy, they all have to book at least a week in advance.

I use Budget Petrol Service Centre in Lewisham. Great guys really fast, don't overcharge or stuff you around and they know everything there is to know about Falcons... they service heaps of taxis.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
On that note: if i was do just get my own parts, and find someone to fit them, i'm not sure whether the car has ABS or not. It doesn't have any stickers or badging anywhere, but it DOES have an ABS light that comes on when i turn the key just for a few seconds. I assume that if the car had no ABS this light wouldn't be there, or it'd just have no globe/fuse? |
