Just read in the motoring section of todays paper that the new James Bond movie, Spectre, wrote off 51.6 mill worth of cars.
That's just obscene. Couldn't they just CGI most of it?

was that the street value of the vehicles at purchase prier to film studio modifications or the price to have them film ready to do all the film things the movie needs with the gadgets n all ???

yes still (as money n time permit) doing the rebuilding the zh fairlane with a clevo 400m 4v heads injected whipple blown with aode 4 speed trans to a 9" ....... we'll get there eventually just remember don't be afraid to try something new. No, they tried doing that in Fast & Furious movies, and it's painfully obvious
still, they have used scale models in previous JB movies (skyfall) "voxeljet, a European company used a massive 3D printer to printed out 18 separate pieces per car for a total of 54 parts so that the mini Aston Martins could be put together with fully functioning doors, trunks, hoods and other features."
