"No one can accuse Lincoln of failing to keep to the MKZ modern after the latest, comprehensive upgrades for the refreshed 2017 model. The sedan goes on sale next spring and features significant changes to the design, powertrain, and available technology.
The designers give the luxury sedan's face an aesthetic overhaul with a mesh grille that's inspired by the Continental concept, and the company also offers LED adaptive headlights as a further improvement to the front end. That said, it looks a little derivative – many staffers are comparing it to similar Jaguar and Kia designs, not that that's a bad thing. Inside, the center console moves away from capacitive controls in favor of actual knobs and buttons. Huge changes happen under the hood, too. The all-wheel-drive MKZ is available with 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, and the mill is exclusive to Lincoln for now. The optional Driver's Package on these models should further improve the handling thanks to a torque-vectoring rear differential derived from the Ford Focus RS. The same V6 makes 350 hp in front-wheel drive trim, and customers can also order a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or hybrid powertrain. Lincoln has a load of safety and driver assistance tech for the MKZ, too. The adaptive cruise control system can deal with stop-and-go traffic and even hold the sedan in place without the driver using the brake pedal. Wonder if back in '07 with those FG Mules with Lincoln graffitied on the rear quarters, this could have been Falcon's alternate reality...

Ditch those wheels and that's not half bad. The interior though isn't exactly oozing premium, looks rather low rent.
What platform is it based on? |

That's a shame Moby, I'm probably still in the dark ages, when I hear the words Ford Lincoln, I think of big luxo cruiser from the past , these days there are a lot of cars
Similarly equipped, it must be hard to stand out from the crowd for Lincoln, especially when old farts like myself still think back in the old days. . |

Kia Wheels. Audi Lights. Bentley Grill. And old-school Hyundai Rear from the front quarter - because the new Hyundai's shine in comparison. Quite an uncoordinated hodge-podge if you ask me.

I think this is a big step in the right direction for Lincoln. I never cared for the MKZ or any of the rebadged Fords with teethy grilles (even the horizontal ones). When Ford owned JLR, I said they should sell it and make those sporty luxury car as Lincolns to make it into a global brand. They didn't need the Jaguar brand to do that, and I thought the same with Land Rover. Ford needs to aim much higher than Cadillac to make Lincoln successful. I'm looking forward to see what's next for Lincoln.

My reason I think have a similar styling (albeit distant) is the terrible multi spoke design. To me they look similar when on a vehicle.
As for my choice in wheel, I got them for free!!! They suit my ute and aren't for the masses like the lincoln. They're just for me. I'd be more than willing to have another set of 20s if you want to buy me a set.

Seems to be an American thing.
You can lock the key in the car and use the buttons to re-open it. I remember the Nissan Maxima had it over 20 years ago.

You can set the combination yourself. Ford offered it throughout the '90s, and then it disappeared when they started decontenting to save money.
