I have one stripped wheel nut. The thread on the bolt looks almost salvagable, but the nut itself is trashed! How do I go about fixing it?
I was thinking that SuperCheap or Repco would have a kit, and I would use those locking grips to twist the old bolt out and screw the new one it. Then just apply the new nut! This sound about right? GK |

you have to whack the stud with a drift. you may be able to do with without removing the disc . then the new stud will get hammered in from the inside of the hub outwards.
The studs come with tiny splines and the head is flat n larger. no chance trying to twist it out sorry mate
