Default Seats between models BF and FG

Hey guys,

Hoping someone has a better brain that me, in knowing if it's possible to use the electric controlled seats from the BF XR6 in a 2008 FG XR8?

Curious to know if the controls/plugs are the same.

Looking to swap out the leather seats for synthetic and thought the BF seats would work.

Cheers, Julian

Should work, both same airbag wise?

BF seats seem much higher quality than FG

the plugs on my BA and FG look the same, and the FG XR seats are a downgrade on BA XR seats, bolsters are smaller, i just fitted BA XR foams in my FG XR seats. i was hoping to get some more support but the leather (plastic) seats just don't feel as good as fabric

BF plugs are the same as FG's so the BA's should also be the same.

I'm using a full electric BF memory drivers seat frame in my FG and swapped FG cushions onto these frames. The bottom seat is just a bolt on but in order to use the BF electric rear tilt I had to weld the side frame bolsters from my FG rear frame onto the BF's as it uses different shaped side bolster frames.

I've now swapped all this into FG XR seats

FG foam on the left and BA on the right.
I used a $10 used passenger side seat foam for my drivers seat
