Question Phone Call from Ford HQ

Is this something new ?
Today, I got a fone call from FORD HQ. A lady with an American accent, asked me questions on my FIESTA. She said have I been pleased with it in the last 12 months, any problems, serviced from where I bought it or not, if not why not, questions on my car buying decision, price, style, appointments in the car etc. Will I sell in next 12 months, if so why ?. It was a genuine call as she knew where I bought the car from, rego etc.
Just curious.

I've had the focus 1 year, no calls yet from Ford HQ. Although I did receive a letter from my Dealer telling me that i've had my Falcon now for 12 months since buying it new and to be sure I maintain the servicing. I thought cool. Maybe next time I take the Focus in for a service, it comes back as a BF XR8.
