Looks horn mate, absolutely love the look of them. Kinda good that you did the other rims in, just make sure it doesnt happen to these ones, but they are probably alot tougher that the ford ones.

How low should i go? I don't want to be scraping the car on every single little bump, i do realise i have to go slow over bumps etc when she is lowered, i go slow over them now anyway!
A few questions..... 1) What should i use to lower the car? 2) Where should i take it to get it done? Cheers Simon |

Most insurance companies wont let you lower more than 30mm, so check that first.
If this proves ok, King Lows in the front and Super lows in the rear. Probably need a camber kit also, and new shocks.

Yep nice choice Oz .. :Reverend: ... number 2 son had his SR lowered to XR height looks sweet + there was just enough left in the standard caster/camber set up for ajustment to mft.specs..

Basically, you will end up with about 30mm between top of tyre and guard, instead of the standard 60mm gap. It is the same height as King Lows. Superlows take another 10 to 15mm off, and SSLs are another 10 or so. You will not need shocks if you go XR height. You may if you go superlows (though I have superlows on mine with standard shocks), but you WILL need new shocks for SSLs - 10mm makes a big difference, basically SSL ends up at an extra inch over (under) XR height, so it's not just 10mm or so.

AU S1 dint have the best brakes. You might as well upgrade the brakes and suspension all together. Save on labour costs.
