Default Holden collection up for auction

Ambitious....?

Rare machines including a one-of-one show car are headed to auction with enormous price expectations that could top $10m.

Both the W1 Sedan and ute are 1 of 1 being in the XU3 Yellah of the VS GTS-R. Im a bit skeptical that they will get to $10m but they should bring some decent coin.

The owner has a large collection of HSV's (2 of some of the rarer ones) so this is only a tiny part of his collection. Wonder if any more of them will be sold.

Wow we have recently known about these secret Maloo GTS-R W1. Which is rare enough so the colour is not that surprising.

The HSV GTS-R W1 was never a secret but first I'm hearing of one in the '96 colour

The HSV GTSR Concept Coupe will bring the big pesos in this auction I reckon.

Hi Guy's
what a great collection and that's coming from a Ford fan.
The 1996 HSV GTR has only 86km on the clock.
I also heard on the new's that their's one with only 19 kms on the clock also.

Peter Brock's 1985 HDT Vk Commodore went for over 1million. A XY Ford Falcon GTHO Phase 3 sold for $1.15 million, maybe theses Holden's will beat that price?

Just scrap them and erase all memory of Holden just like GM has done.
They never existed.

I thought the concept would be the most money since it is the most unique but is the lowest price so far

W1 ute is smacking them all by a lot. Though imagine paying nearly $400k for a VS as rare as it is and nearly half a mil for a W1!

Last time I looked W1 prices were in the $250-300k range. That's a real mark up on paint

A little but cruel, but we could also say the same for the Falcon.
