Default It"s Back

:eclipsee_ Well everyone I thought i'd just let you share in my joy of finally getting my car back from the smash repairers after 5 long weeks. They ended up doing a really good job on it, but not without it's dramas, like painting it in the wrong paint and then having to redo it. But they did fill the torneau loop hole on the tub which makes for a whole lot neater job.And as they say alls well that ends well.Heres some pics for you all to see.

Did the 'beaters do a good job? Any give-away signs of the prior damage? How are the panel alignments? If its all good, you should let us know who did the repairs. :

No give away signs on it as they replace the tub with a new one.The problem with the paint mix up was not the fault of the repairer, the paint supplier PPG told them that it was a solid colour when it turned out to be clear over base.Gives on entirely different shade of yellow.Very noticable at certain angles.NRMA wanted to leave it as it was.To the repairers credit they were on my side and went in to bat for me. the repairer was SID'S HIGH QUALITY SMASH REPAIRS IN Smithfield Sydney. Very highly recommended. The name says it all.

Glad to see you got your baby back again. I was looking through the dsalvage auctions at Pickles and noticed an almost identical ute there. Then I remembered the thread you started when it happened, and wondered if it was the same ute.

The really annoying part of all this was that the woman that hit me,her car wasritten off and she had her brand new car 2 weeks ago out:

The wheels are XHP Speedster 19x 8.5.
