got a mag with 460 powered mk1 cortie.

id like to see something different. something that is usally seen as "soft".

i guess it all depends on what mods you would be doing or have to do to the body. i mean there no point doing a heap of work to a car that you dont like in stock form. but id really like you to pick something other than a cortina or a capri. thats just my opinion though.

Im going to suggest a suzuki hatch. They are damn tiny, and are sort of cute. Just make sure you put wheelie bars on the FRONT of the car, or put some weight in the back.

What about a Suzuki Mighty-Boy?

Plenty of room for a rear engine conversion.

(this is just my opinion). If anyone could build a bigger engine, then why are there so many small or gutted cars on the track instead of bigger badder engined cars?

A mate of mine's got a Capri with a 387 Cleveland in it. Still in the build-up process, but it's damn nice. He's a master with steel and has done the whole lot himself (steel work, that is).

The bloke across the road, however, is building a drag car out of an XA sedan. Mate, when that thing's done it's going to be wild. Anyone can launch a Capri.

Oh, and there's a bloke with a Torrie for a dragster around the corner. But it's a Torrie, so forget it.

That would be a pig to control at high speeds its like making a drag car out of a mazda360 or a Datsun cony Guppy. If a Ford Capri or Datsun 240/260Z can be located they are light & take to V8 conversions well.

I did say I wasn't sure about the last two pics. I didn't take the pics. They colors the exact same in all three pic and the person taking the pics never took a pic of any silver XR.

I don't claim to be god like yourself. Your ego might stop people getting in the same proximity as you.

I'm sure, I know things about other cars ie XB's that you don't. I don't all claim to know everything though. Never have. I let you think you know everything. Keep stroking your ego.

If you want something different how about this?

Ford Sierra

Buy one of the cheap non turbo ones and put a V8 in it.
There was a small amount of them made in South Africa similar to the Pirana Capri.

But my choice in order would be Mk1 Cortina, then Capri but I am bias as I love the Mk1's.
