Hi guys, does anyone know whether the 1970 3000GT came with high back seats? I thought that these were not introduced until the upgrade model but I'm not sure what the situation was in Australian produced versions.

AFAIK Aussie Mk1 Capris didn't get high back seats until Jan '72 production.

High Back Seats were officially installed for 1972 as there was updated ADR's. Also included were the flush bonnet pins and swinging sunvisors and a breakaway rear view mirror. I have seen a couple of december 1971 cars fitted with the later parts but to answer you question no Capri in 1970 has Highback seats
