Default C2R Grill for the Series 1 Forte (Low Series Bonnet)

Yay i found a C2R grill for my car today, it's primed and ready to be painted! It's brand new and they want $175 for it? What does everybody reckon of the price?

And also.....Will the BA auto gear shifter fit onto the AU auto gear shifter? If so is it just a straight swap ova job?

Cheers

Simon

Yep, that's a good price. BA shifter does NOT fit AU shifter. You can replace the whole shifter mechanism though, and fit the SSS mode as well, but the cost is around the $500 mark, and requires fabrication of a bracket, plus cutting up and "customisation" of your centre console.

One what? Gear shifter? Yes - all series AUs use the same shifter. You can get them from Autotek for around $100, and also on ebay for a similar price.

Buy DeathXRs shocks and springs - you can't go wrong for the money he is asking, and for what amounts to about the same cost as the grille, you will actually get better performance from the suspension.

If you lower the forte BELOW 30mm (xr height) known as Low Springs you will not get insurance unfortunately.
