Ok so ive managed to get a GS bonnet and want to put the GT locks into it,so i can take the genuine one of with the hole in and put a non-holed one on.

Is this what i need to do that, they just weld those plates in the bonnet yeah.

yeah, they are the ones, but the current bid $77 plus $10 postage makes them more expensive than the $83 as suggested by four barrel.
I had to replace mine, and $80 something from rare spares was the price.

The plates don't weld into the bonnet. The lock down kit as pictured above is XY with XB brackets. People use them on the XC bonnets. To fit them you have to cut the 2 holes into the bonnet. What you can't see in the kit above is the vinyl "cups" that sit in the holes. These are clamped into the bonnet by the metal cup below and the washer. 4 self tapping screws go through the washer, through the vinyl and through the metal cup and make it all nice and snug.

XA XB bonnet locks sit straight into the bonnet cutout made to fit the locks. The XY type (pictured above) have seperate cups that the pins sit into. A lot of people fit these RSP type to save the paint work being chipped as you unlock the bonnet pins.
You can just buy the pins/springs/clips seperatly and get ahold of a set of locking plates for the radiator support from e-pray. They are a dime a dozen.
