Default Contemplating selling the XR

Yep you read right. Thinking about it, have not made a decision yet. I have so much on the go at the moment, and cannot see it being finished for a long while yet, and could really use the space for my furniture and French polishing work area. I don't know. Maybe i just need a holiday. Bj

Re-trim the seat's, put the running gear out of my old XC plus fit all of the fuel system and fuel pump, have the pick up in the tank moved to the rear, re-route the remote booster and change the radiator, fit the floor ratchet shifter, change the rear end over for the nine inch, do all the brakes plus have the whole exhaust fitted. As welll as putting the wheel's on. So there is still a little bit left to do.

And you are aware, good sir, that if you don't finish this XR, you will be breaking one little boys heart, right? :

You need a holiday, John. And I've told you before, if you ever need the extra room, you're more than welcome to store the XR at my place. :

Mate please do not sell it. You will kick yourself later. There aren't many like that left anymore. If you tried it would be bloody hard to find another one. In saying that i would love it as it sits but neither have the space or money. Definetly go on a holiday. I think we all need to take a break more often.

If you don't need the money and just need the space or a break, loan it to one of the museums or the Ford Discovery Centre.
It will be looked after by people who actually care and you can get it back whenever you want it.

Seriously BJ, the early Falcons are rare birds these days. Don't sell it unless you have to.

Don't get rid of it - you know that if you did, you'd regret it. If space is the issue, then find a mate who can store it somewhere safely for you until such time that you have the time/inclination/money/space to pick it up again.

It's such a lovely old car. Don't sell it. Take a break from it, and come back to it when you're ready; with any luck that won't be too long.
