Hi all
If i am to remove the below screw (I have circled it in red) to fit a fan belt cover, can i just unscrew it like normal, fit the part, then screw it back on ? Or does the thing contain liquid, etc, etc...

the screw itself doesn't contain any liquid, but just make sure the engine is cold, and maybe as a precaution remove the expansion tank/pressure cap just to make sure the system is depressurised so it doesn't leak

AFAIK there is a replacement bolt (much taller to bolt the cover) that needs to go back in it's place to hold the serpentine belt/power steer reservoir cover in place.

mine was rooted. like the thread had been stripped before. i put it in as best as i can, but it got fixed when my car got a service :

did you get that part from Ford?...how much was it?...can you get this 'better' bolt from ford too?
