Default Fitting a Fan Belt Cover

Hi all

If i am to remove the below screw (I have circled it in red) to fit a fan belt cover, can i just unscrew it like normal, fit the part, then screw it back on ?

Or does the thing contain liquid, etc, etc...

the screw itself doesn't contain any liquid, but just make sure the engine is cold, and maybe as a precaution remove the expansion tank/pressure cap just to make sure the system is depressurised so it doesn't leak

AFAIK there is a replacement bolt (much taller to bolt the cover) that needs to go back in it's place to hold the serpentine belt/power steer reservoir cover in place.

No i think he means the radiator cap on top of the header tank ... the one that sits next to your ABS module on the driver's side.

ANy EF/EL will have the correct bolt.. it is a 13mm lower botl with a thread and 10mm nut on the top to locate and fasten the shroud
