Thanks mate, think I might have to leave it though, the drivers side rear caliper aint comin off. Think the bolt is seized or Ford got a little over zealous with Loctite on it!!
P.S I wouldnt recommend Auto Leaders Nerang to anyone, they've left me going 4 days with new front rotors and pads, cancelled further bookings twice and expect me to wait till next Thursday to finish the job!! |

I changed calipers, pads, and rotors front and rear (DBA slotted and PBR sports calipers and pads) about a month ago. Took me a morning to do it and I flushed the fluid, so it shoud take and experienced mechanic about two hours tops! The rear caliper bolts have tons of loctite on them and it took a large bar and taping with a hammer to get them undone!! Undo the screw and use a flat piece of wood against the back of the rotor and again with your hammer tap the rotor off.

It needs a bit of force but try firm taps first!! If you whack it as hard as can you will probably cop your spanner in your eye or worse!!! If you are using a spanner make sure you use the ring end!

Hey rayner dont use a spanner if its too tight use a six point socket , then it wont kill the bolthead. Even just a normal socket would b better
