Just wanted to relay my recent positive experience with this new Ford Australia initiative.
Was looking to book my company Falcon for 30K service & due to a recent office relocation wasn't sure of the closest dealer. Having heard the radio ads I call away, at 7:30pm. Phone is answered (I was expecting to leave voice mail at best) & my details taken by a real person who promises I will be contacted by a dealer the next day. Voilą 9:15am the next day Alto Ford service is on the phone booking the day & arranging to collect the car from me return it on the day of the service; I'm stoked! Then later that same day 1300MYFORD calls to check if all is OK, offers me a tee-shirt (which has arrived) & to enter me into a competition Alto Ford is running for a Weekend Escape! Keep this up Ford & you'll have heaps of happy customers.

If this is the roadside assistance mob, my experience was negative. I don't believe the fault belonged with the RACV, who run the service within Victoria, but rather with Ford Motor Company.

Needed it on 2nd day of ownership with the Territory ... they were pretty quick indeed ... long distance towing costs were covered by Ford as well ... I was impressed.
