Some great shirts, gift certificates, magazine subscription (no you dirty perverts, it's MONEY magazine!), a new pair of golf shoes (they better improve my game damnit!), a new putter (it better improve my putting damnit!), a set of Calloway balls (which I'll be too scared of losing to actually ever use!).

Lunch was knee-tremblingly satisfying - 2 different varieties of marinated steaks, 3 varieties of king prawn (oh baby!), 4 varieties of thick gourmet sausage, marinated whole large mushrooms, cheesy potato bake, 3 different salads, fresh crusty french sticks. Oh and dessert was chocolate cheesecake with 3 different icecream scoops.

More than all that though, just a truly sensational day with the family and the kids and that's the genuine highlight for me. :

Don't mount em on the ceiling, The last place you want to light up is the roof.
every garage I've had I put them on the walls, and never have regretted it!

They are on the roof already. Dont see how mounting them on the walls would give me much light in an engine bay where the light needs to come from above.

I got 10% of the gift I would otherwise have got from my parents - I get the other 90% if I give up smoking before March 31 2007. I think I'll be giving up this time, as the wife is now on my case that my selfish habit is depriving her and the kids (fair enough, too).

But mostly, similar to Mt Sparkle, the day was about the kids and they had a ball. It's the first day of their 3 year old lives that the twins didn't have a mid-afternoon sleep, and they were great all day. Running around with cousins, and opening heaps of presents mustn't be tiring!

2 years, is that all? You couldn't have been trying hard enough. ;)

I have a friend who has lost his until 2010, and has only done 9 months of his time so far.

Now back on topic...

The turbo, intercooler, fittings and other necessary stuff from an XR6T to shove on my car eventually, from my Uncle. (A couple of guys from Autostyle have volunteered to do it, but I'm not too sure I trust them not to take it too far)
NFS: Carbon for PS2 from Dad (I picked it 'cause there wasn't really anything I wanted, so settled with that)
A body scrub set (again) from my Uncle and Aunt
2 pieces of Swarovski crystal from my parents
A teddy bear to display from Mum
Ferrero Rocher, again from Dad
Cash from my Grandfather

We got a new TV from Mum's brother

The Grandmother who usually specialises in recycled junk out of her house that is at least 20 years old and useless, suprised and infuriated us all and gave us each a whole lot of NOTHING!

Luckily the things we gave her cost us a total of about $10 combined.

I didn't really get anything car related this year but was spoilt all the same.
(the folks did say they were going to help pay for a few things on my car when I start doing them next year though )

Got books for Uni (Australian Criminal Justice and A Guide to Criminology)
Books (Patricia Cornwell's),
Perfume,
Oils for the burner,
handbag
Japanese Wish Pot,
Apple Peeler Machine,
Chocolates (there goes the diet lol),
$100 (that I am apparently not allowed to use to get another tattoo or spend on the car - pfft as if lol)...
oh and a message from an ex (declaring its love lol)

So feeling very very spoilt
