Default Will my trans cooler affect engine temp?

Just got a derale trans cooler for the au v8 and its bigger than what i thought, size is 250mm by 350mm.Just wondering if any of you forum members have fitted one and did it cause the engine temp to get hotter because of the size[i thought it was gonna be half the size, like the one on my eb v8]Hopefully it wont affect the airflow through the rad but let me know what you think, cheers.

the radiator actually draws cool air up from the lower air dam in the front bar via the spliter (the black plastic piece that sits at the bottom of your front bar) the thermo fans help to draw the air up so the cool air doesnt come directly through the oil cooler and a/c evaporator (the silver radiator looking thing in front of your radiator) so it will make no difference to your engine temperature at all.

The standard transmission oil cooler runs through the header tank of the radiator anyway so even if the airflow passed directly through the new cooler and on through the radiator it should have no effect at all, if anything you'll probably find the engine may run slightly cooler as the engines coolant is no longer taking heat from the transmission as well
