Default How do I reprogram BEM to transponders

Had auto service and tryed to start with flat battry and now wont go.
Wont crank.
Wont fuel inject
But does have spark (when forced to crank)
Seems to me that the BEM wont talk to the PCM and thinks its stolen..
So I dont wont to tow it to ford and pay there outragiuos labour rate.
Can I fix this my self..
Thanks in advance..

weird ... if you are getting spark when cranking ... then the BEM hasn't immobilised your engine.

I think there's another issue here that is causing your vehicle not to start.

What do you mean by trying to start with flat battery? did you try and jump start it?

I have heard of an issue like this before, several attempts trying to start the car and the system locks out the key transponder

Why are you paying to get it fixed btw, seems like the people who did the service needs to carry the cost of repair

could it be something as simple as the ignition harnes plug being loose/unplugged?? I experianced something similar after my car was stolen, and the solution was simply to push the looms back into the BEM and the ignition plug back into the harnes as they were all loose (the thief tried to cover his tracks)

Also, check your battery connections, while it might have enough power going through to light up dash lights/interior light etc, if its loose, it might not flow enough current to crank, remove any corosion from the terminals and make sure thier done up real tight - these cars get very temperimental when the terminals are loose (even if only slightly)
