Default Boot Lid Linner???? Does it exist

Does anyone know if au's have a boot liner for the lid of the boot?

I have just installed dynamat onto my boot lid and i want to cover it.

if au's are supposed to have a boot lid linner i will simply buy one to cover the dynamat.

They do, I have one on mine. Standard equipment on a 'monty. You should be able to pick up a good one from the wreckers for $20 - $30 then all you need is the plastic christmas tree plugs to put it on.

XR didn't come out with one standard after the EL. Deleted part to cut costs.

I had to buy one from Ford for mine. Pretty stodgy by Ford to cut it out. Ok i know mine is a forte, but jeez youd think an XR and an LTD would have one.

Anyhow this is what they look like

Looks a lot better with the cover.
Are all the boot lids the same size?
Will a falcon one fit in the LTD?

Better than the price I got quoted, $89.50. Much cheaper from a wrecker and for the record I paid $20 for mine.

Yep it should have had one, somebody took it out for some reason, Fairlane one will fit if you can find one, comes with a nice little leather handle to close the boot with too

they do help reduce the rattle alot. But your best bet is to silicone between skin and the frame of the boot lid prior to fitting the linner. I've done this and now my subs causes more rattles in my bonnet then my boot lid.

Buy 10, the extra couple will cover the ones you'll break. Supercheap etc sell them in 5 packs.
