Default Look at the kind of marketing Ford gets in U.S.A

I wish Ford Australia would take note of the kind of marketing The U.S.A gets.

Just found this:

That is cool - and you are just ab out the right muppet to find it too. Coincidentally,
I work every night with a guy known as Beaker, yes he does look like that.

The new Esky looks good bit Jeep to the front end -not a bad thing. It also looks different enough to the Kuga that it could do OK here.

Kermit is not in a lab coat.

Kermit the Frog used to do "News Flashes" on Sesame Street and would always open with , "Hi Ho, this is Kermit the Frog for Sesame Street News"...and at the end of every report it would be, "We now return you to your regularly scheduled program".

The Muppets are huge in the U.S. though...not as prominent here...we need a real Aussie icon who is respected by all...hmmm...I can't think of anybody...

Is that Escape all new, or just of a facelift of the Mazda Tribute?

Actually The Mazda tribute is a Ford Escape..not the other way around. Its a Ford design. As far as I am aware though the Hybrid Escape came out in 2005 and i do not think Mazda offer a hybrid Tribute.

What she meant was is that Escape a totally new Escape/Tribute, or a facelift of the current Escape/Tribute.

Looks pretty different to the Escape we have here. I remember reading somewhere that after the current series, the Escape and Tribute would share only their basic platforms, with everything else being unique.
