so yea, i been traveling to jimboomba from carindale for 9 days i will be and it just started comeing home on day 3.
i hear this whining noise from very close around my fanbelt turning mechenisims at the front of my engine. sounds like a duck drowning. and it consistant with the revs of the car iv noticed. how may i check the situation? just take the plastic cover off the front that covers the belt and ha the oil twisty valve thing that says oil. lol. can i use a tone of wd40 to sexy things up? or silicon spray or the likes? and when i turn my wheels i get a "buuuuurrrrrr" noise, last time i herd this i just toped up with powerstering fluid. but i just got a service 500ks ago pfft why cant things be easy! help fellow ford nerds!

Most likely one of the small idler pulleys need replacement. Need to track down which one. Can remove belt and spin each and check. Try there 1st but also check the water pump and alternator and like you mentioned make sure P.S oil is full.

haha it was the silliest thing. i was low on power steering fluid, toped up this mornign and noise instantly dissapeared. but i do relise that my power steering cords are leaking.
