Should be in your owners manual on about pg 15. Pretty sure it's ABS though - check your brakes.

Yep - that's it - at least in my EL manual it is. I assume they carry the symbols over to mean the same thing in the AU.

In my old car it came on, turned out my brake fluid was getting low.

my au xr8 let loose a beep every 30 seconds for a few day before i realised the problem was a lack of wiper fluid. it was the most irritating 3 days of my driving life and all in all could have been solved by a light that says wipers!

i'm pretty sure it's the handbrake light, and it has a continuous beep too faint to hear if you have music going...

a few guys are on the right track here....all those who said brakes...give your selves a pat on the back!!! ABS doesnt count.....as mentioned that is a circle with ABS inside it. best off you check your brake fluid...more then likely it requires changing or is getting low...meaning you have a leak somewhere....either way, get it to your local mechanic and get them to check your entire brake system. dont mess around with it yourself, its too important and easy to stuff up if you dont know what your doing.

Cheers, will do.

I know its not the handbrake. theres a different light for that. But got in the car today and no light but will still get it checkd out.
Im wonderin, it was a very faint light. Could it be a short some where?? There is water leaking from some where unknown!!! and it is leaking on some wires..... next to the steering column. Which could be unsafe as well.

Any thoughts??

cheers

Your pads could also be getting low, meaning the pistons in the calipers squeeze out further dropping the fluid level in the reservior.

Either way, if you're not hunky dory with fixing brakes, get it looked at.
