Unhappy Bloody hail!!!!!

Well if u were in west or north of sydney this arvo, u would have got the huge massive hail storm!! With hail bigger than ur fist!!

Unfortunatly, my xr8 was stuck in a carpark outside while i was at work!! There are a fair bit of dints in it now. As i was trying to sell it wont help the cause.

All the dints are on the bonnet, boot and a couple on the roof. I should count myself lucky!! Cars around me had windows smashed!!

I might get my self a BA XR8 bonnet now :P

Anyone else get any damage??

Anyone got any ideas how much it costs to get dints outa the roof?

Cheers

So what you are asking is if you have an automatic licence even if it is upgraded to manual automatically can it be upgraded manually by sitting for a manual test and if passed the automatic licence is automatically upgraded but if failed is the automaic licence automatically failed as well and do you have to read the road safety manual to sit for the manual upgrade or does the automatic licence test of the road safety manual automatically cover the manual test as well?

ahh dude.. that sucks... i really feel for you.... :(

better then having insurance and not getting your car fixed....i was told hail doesn't chip paint.. yet i had paint chips all over my bonnet and roof and even the windscreen... they weren't there before the storm.. but were there after it... go figure...

hope for your sake it's not too expensive... i hope you atleast have some insurance...:S i wouldn't wanna be driving something like that aruond with no cover at all... :S

Wifes parent's agistment place was hit hard in Eastern Creek ... all the roofs on the stables are damaged ... holed everywhere.

Father-in-Law's BFII work ute has massive dents in the roof and bonnet. Windscreen abd headlights are destroyed. Even ripped a couple of holes in his tonneau cover over the trayback.

People that were at the place at the time had their cars damaged too.

Wife's old Mirage that her Mum drive's now is damaged ... the hits to the front guards popped the indicators out from the guards ... :hihi:

Everything is insured though ... thankfully.

We put all of our vehicles away out my way (past Windsor) as we saw and heard the storm build over our place ... but it kept going and nothing dropped here.

The dent puller guys can do a fantastic job for a reasonable price. I've seen a Canberra company do a great job on an F6.

I was at work at Huntingwood and my Taurus copped it big time.
By the time we knew it was hailing it was to late the hail was the size of cricket balls!!
Two people had their windscreens smashed so I count myself lucky in that respect.
It was wild, the sun was shining from the west towards the end of the storm and I could see the hail falling from 100 metres up it was the most bizarre thing I have seen!

Friday afternoon ... got stuck in peak hour traffic on the M2 when the storm hit there ... was doing 40 km/h in the Territory ... wipers on full ... and still couldnt see a thing ... haven't seen rain like that in ages.

Although I think it was Wednesday or Thursday ... a quick storm hit Parramatta/Rydalmere area and flooded Victoria Rd near the railways station/Uni .... along with blocked drains and a burst water main .... I managed to get through there before they shut Victoria Rd ... I drive through it ... the water was up to me doors ... I looked out quickly through the window and I couldn't see my side skirts. Was interesting though in the work ute ... I had a 500kg pallet on at the time as well.
