Default I'm speechless..

Anyone posted about this guy yet??

http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/s...006301,00.html

Anyone who racks up $20k worth of tickets would be suffering hardship!

His driving record is a great read too... be sure to check it out!!

http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/pdf/rapsheet.pdf

Imagine having that record and then having the balls to argue special circumstances! The only "special circumstances" this dude has is that he was obviously deprived of oxygen for quite a while at birth...

this part really grinded my gears in the article:

"The 46-year-old then blamed his appalling driving record on others, who he claimed had transferred the fines into his name"

Compounded with having the fines cut in half, it's clear this guy hasn't taken ownership of his obvious "fine" problem and now the court has reinforced that by taking away half the responsibility of his actions. The system has failed to reinforce to him that what he is doing is wrong

Damn..that is attrocious! Frustrates me that he has had his fines just divided! Surely they can come to an arrangement where he pays of a certain amount of $$ p/w for however many years until he has paid of his debt! Frustrates me!

Maybe someone should have reminded the judge the nation has jails.

And before anyone rants about jail for traffic offences being over the top, no, its jail for not paying fines and clearly not having any regard for the law. They may stem from traffic offences, that doesnt mean the traffic offence is why Id lock him up.

Spot on fmc351.

The dude is a candidate for jail and a youtube car crushing... This is the person to keep in mind when they talk about such draconian action.

I'd personally like to know how the hell he wasn't arrested and arraigned?!?!?!?!!

I mean even here in perth (which is far less strict that our eastern counterparts) there is no human way you'd get away with that, cops would be on your door or on your work with some shiny steel bracelets for you.

Man i got a ticket for not stopping at an orange light $340 later I LEARNED MY LESSON!!!!!!! maybe this guy should have his licence suspended untill he gets a clue (which could be for life in this tools case).

I wonder if he drives a volvo? and what is he on about taking two buses to work and running a car, if he takes the bus he dont need a car, sorry but if you get community service you do it you dont get out of because "you have to work" you did the crime you do the time!!!!!

Just put him under house arrest for 2 months to work off his debt.

and i just noticed he got busted for expired licence 5 times in a week sometimes 2 times a day what is this guy on????

From the link above "Mr. Fiorita, a former employee of the respondents, who had been called to give evidence to the Commission by the applicant, did not impress the Commission as to his being either a reliable witness or a witness of truth, and I came to that conclusion after seeing him and hearing him give his evidence."

It sounds like it would be the same dude for sure, especially considering his rap sheet also has him making false statements and dishonestly taking stuff without the owners consent.... What a twat.

He loox like a real tossa, he can start by selling his shirt & glasses :Reverend:
How a bout they halve everybodies fines now :

Maybe if he paid them on time they wouldnt add up to 20k & he'd be able to afford it, Isnt it 1 day in lock up for x amount of dollars?

Maybe they should lock him up for a while & let him think about not being a moron when he gets out! 20k wut a f*kn joke!!!!!!!!
